We verify women’s profiles and investigate substantiated reports of dishonest behavior.

SlavicGirl cares about its reputation and the credibility of information provided to members. The site registers women over 18 — the lawful age in Ukraine — who are not married or in relationships and whose goal is a sincere, long-lasting relationship or marriage. Before registration, we check documents, available social-network information, and whether a profile has appeared on known scam lists.

How to report a concern

If you think you have been scammed, contact us and provide evidence of dishonest behavior by the female member. We will conduct our own investigation. If your claim is proved, we will refund the credits you spent communicating with that member.

Scam red flags

  1. Financial support is the real goal

    The communication is intended to obtain money or other material advantages.

  2. False claims about marital status or family circumstances

    For example, an invented illness of a relative or pet is used to ask for expensive treatment costs.

  3. An unjustified refusal to meet

    After extended communication through letters and chats, the member refuses to meet in real life without a serious reason.

  4. Requests for money or expensive gifts

    Such requests are made while you are not yet in a relationship.

  5. A profile created without the woman’s knowledge

    The woman does not know she is registered with a dating agency and her photos are used without permission.

What is not evidence by itself

  1. A profile appears on several dating sitesA member may knowingly agree to publication through an agency on more than one platform to improve her chance of success.
  2. Communication stops very earlyRefusal to interact within the first five letters without explanation is not proof by itself; after longer communication, there should be a serious reason for stopping replies.
  3. Not every question is answeredA member may leave some questions unanswered when she explains why.
  4. Communication ends after a real-life meetingA decision to stop communicating after meeting in person is not evidence of a scam by itself.
  5. She will not communicate outside the siteRefusing to move communication off-site before meeting in person is not evidence of a scam.
  6. No meeting without prior arrangementsIt is not proof when suitable dates were not agreed in correspondence or you arrived in her city without notice.
  7. The woman wears a ringIn Ukraine, wearing a ring on any finger is not necessarily evidence of marital status.
  8. Old social-media photos include menThey may be relatives or former partners, and abandoned pages may contain information that has not been updated for years.
  9. She communicates with several menBefore making an engagement decision, this is not evidence of a scam by itself.

How to reduce the risk

  1. Do not send money

    Do not transfer money to members before meeting in person and beginning a real relationship.

  2. Exchange current photos and use video

    Share everyday-life photos and have video conversations when possible to confirm that you are speaking with a real person.

  3. Arrange the first meeting through the site

    The source policy states that SlavicGirl accepts no responsibility for your communication with a member outside the site.

  4. Report doubts promptly

    If you notice any red flag or have doubts, questions, or suspicions, contact the site administration. We will examine the circumstances closely.

Credit refund

When a claim of scamming behavior is proved, we refund the credits spent communicating with that member. When sufficient evidence establishes a scam, her profile is removed without the possibility of reinstatement.
